Dr. Jeffrey A. Cochrane is an economist with some 25 years experience worldwide, especially in Africa, and most particularly in West Africa. He currently resides in Accra where he manages regional economic growth programs for the U.S. Agency for International Development. His opinions are his own, and not necessarily those of the U.S. Government.
